Two Worlds Intertribal Lodge
LOGO'S MEANING
The Medicine Wheel of Two Worlds Intertribal Lodge is done in Lakota colors, as in Black Elk's vision, representing all four colors of creation ( we say all four "Tribes" )-- Red, Yellow, Black and White.
The two globes represent the two worlds we all live in: The world with the Red Heart symbolizes our spiritual world and the world with the White Heart symbolizes the industrial world we must all live in.
The rainbow joining the Two Worlds again represents the four different tribes of creation, which span both worlds like the rainbow. It is covered with Blue for Father Sky which protects us, and has Green on the bottom of the rainbow for Mother Earth which gives us life and on which we stand.
The arrow through the center is a Spirit Arrow, a Healing Arrow. It has on it the four colors again; Blue for the Sky; The Willow shaft represents the Trees and Plants, the ones who swim, and the water because it grows near water; Horse hair and Deer sinew represent the four-leggeds and those who creep and crawl; the Stone point represents the Earth and the Stone People; Feathers represent the winged ones. In this way, it represents all our relations. This arrow is never to be used to kill or harm in any way.
The four feathers represent the four directions and our Ancestors who reside in the spirit world.
The name of the Lodge is self-explanatory -- we all live and works in two worlds, the industrial world in which we earn our living, and the spiritual world in which we celebrate life. The four words under the Medicine Wheel, Respect, Honor, Love and Sharing, are the basis for life on Earth as it has been given to us.

LOGO'S MEANING
The colors of the logo are those we use to represent life -- red, yellow, black and white for the Tribes, blue for Father Sky, green for Mother Earth, and brown for All Our Relations, all of Creation with which we share life on Mother Earth.
The Long House in the eastern direction honors the Tribes of Woodland descent, both east and west coasts The Adobe homes in the southern direction honor the Tribes of the southwestern area. The Lodges (tipis) in the western direction honor the Tribes of the plains who made their homes from the skins of the animals who sustained them. The images in the northern direction represent our Ancestors, from whom we are all descended and by whom we are guided and protected, sometimes unknown to us or in spite of us.
